Whole30 Week 3

Well, week 3 of Whole30 sure flew by, and somehow this week is almost over also! We are still chugging along on this Whole30. Not too much has changed from last week. Still missing ice cream and wine, but overall enjoying everything we have been eating. It feels good to be eating as many veggies as we are on a daily basis and I definitely would like to keep that up.

We have become much more aware of unnecessary ingredients in so many recipes and restaurant meals. Good luck ordering anything at a restaurant without having to request it without about 5 different things. It sure makes me thankful I don’t have any food allergies or aversions.

In all my recipe searching I stumbled across a blog this past week that I thought was interesting. I love Dietitian Cassie ‘s approach to food and eating. Her PFC idea definitely seems like something that I can follow long term.

I don’t even know if I should admit this, but this past week I went on the first run I have been on since 20 weeks pregnant… That’s a long time for anyone counting back. Yes, over a year. But it wasn’t too terrible besides being about a million degrees. Hadley wasn’t too fond of the jogging stroller, but she’s not really too fond of any stroller. And, and we also did some yoga this week. Two workouts, one week. Maybe this Whole30 will get me back into the swing of things.

Thanks for listening to my random Whole30 ramblings. I just finished typing up a recipe. I plan on sharing a few of our favorites before we are done with Whole30.
