Farro Greek Salad

A few weeks ago I was invited down to St. Pete at Three Birds Tavern where they were celebrating the launch of their new salad dressing line Out of the Weeds. Nichole from Casa de Crews and myself headed down from north county to meet up with Nikki of  SandBookWich to check out the dressings. Obviously I love Greek inspired dishes. Spicy Beef and Cabbage

Two recipes in one week? I'm not really sure what has happened to me. I must have found some of the time that I have been losing, or actually if you look around my house you will see that I haven't cleaned in a bazillion years so that's probably where this extra time is coming from. Loaded with toppings, meaty - but not … [Read more...]

Better than Panera: Frontega Chicken Panini

Honestly I've never been Panera's biggest fan. I like it well enough. I go there when it's convenient and I want a sandwich or bowl of soup, but I would never go out of my way to eat there. When I do end up there I always order the Frontega Chicken Panini and a cup of black bean soup. Sandwiches aren't tough to make at home, which might explain my lack of enthusiasm for Panera. After a huge … [Read more...]
