Are you new to Supper for a Steal? I have linked to some past blog posts below, but on this page you will find my most up to date formatting. My thoughts are that eating fresh, local foods are both healthier and will save you money. The bulk of my grocery purchase is fresh produce with small amounts of beans, rice, meats, spices, and a few convenience items thrown in there.

I don’t solely shop at Publix. This year as we strive to go organic I have begun adding a few more stores into my monthly rotation. I typically do a Costco run once or twice a month. I have found that there organic meats are a little on the expensive side. I can usually find them on sale at other places, but if we are in need it’s a good option. I also check the Fresh Market weekly circulars for deals. There are many great non traditional grocery options popping up now, such as Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, local butchers markets, produce stands, etc. While some times that route can be expensive if you stock up on sales you can do pretty well.
